They are a leading player in turnkey projects, from design to construction, in the infrastructure and buildings sector. They offer solutions spanning financial planning, land evaluation, design, and construction within the industrial, logistics, and data center sectors. To boost the Data Center Business Unit, we are seeking a Projects Director who will report to the Technical Director. This role is responsible for the delivery of entrusted projects from pre-design to construction and for ensuring operational profitability in line with contractual agreements and company objectives. The ideal candidate is a true team leader, maintaining customer relationships and managing a team of (Senior) Project Managers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES : Provides technical support to business development teams during prospecting activities. Meets clients with the business development team to understand their needs and project specifics (site nature, users, investors, etc.). Proposes technical and cost-effective solutions tailored to client needs. Prepares and optimizes building designs and technical solutions. Estimates design costs and prepares preliminary schedules. Prepares necessary documents for feasibility studies, including bills of quantities and ME. Defines offers and manages finalization and briefing with business development and design teams. Acts as the principal contact for clients and company representatives during the project. Contract : Participates in contract approval with business development, legal, and finance departments. As contract director, approves all details and prepares technical and administrative documents. Construction : Builds and leads the project team, ensuring team members possess necessary skills. Guarantees project realization according to contractual agreements. Monitors work progress, manages client relations, and schedule adjustments. Produces technical summaries of building trades’ interventions. Cost and Schedule Management : Conducts financial studies to ensure profit margins align with objectives. Participates in contract committees and co-responsible for sale-purchase contracts. Signs sale-purchase agreements with the business development and design teams. Team Management : Coordinates with the Country Manager or Technical Director to manage project teams, including Project Assistants and (Senior) Project Managers. Qualifications : Master’s degree in civil engineering, urbanism, or related fields. 5 to 10 years of experience in private construction markets (TKP or EPCM contracts).
