This role ensures seamless coordination of flying and training schedules, enabling operational readiness and mission success across a dynamic and fast‑paced environment. /p h3What You Will Do /h3 ul liCoordinate and manage flying and training schedules for units under the 31st Operations Group (31 OG), supporting both fighter and rescue operations. /li liDevelop and maintain daily, weekly, and long‑range schedules using GTIMS or PEX. /li liEnsure all schedules meet requirements outlined in AFI 11-202V1, AFI 11-2MDSV1, and local training guidance. /li liCollaborate with Flight Commanders, Stan/Eval, Training, and Maintenance to integrate personnel and aircraft availability. /li liTrack and resolve schedule conflicts related to TDY, upgrade training, evaluations, and aircrew qualifications. /li liPrepare and distribute approved flight authorizations and daily flying schedules. /li liCoordinate range use, airspace access, and host‑nation approvals with OSS Plans, Range Control, and external agencies. /li liMonitor airfield conditions, weather, and aircraft status; communicate updates to the Director of Operations (DO) and Supervisor of Flying (SOF). /li liManage schedule deconfliction between flying, simulator, and academic training events. /li liMaintain data accuracy within scheduling systems and produce readiness and utilization reports. /li liEnsure crew training, evaluation, and currency are properly reflected in official systems. /li liMaintain continuity binders, SOPs, and documentation for inspection readiness. /li liSupport exercises, contingency operations, and deployments through adaptive scheduling and coordination. /li liCoordinate with USAFE-AFAFRICA and higher headquarters to ensure policy and procedural compliance. /li /ul h3What We Are Looking For /h3 ul li0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience. /li li6+ years of experience in Air Force operations, training, or scheduling. /li liProficiency with GTIMS or PEX. /li liKnowledge of AFI 11‑202V1, AFI 11‑2MDSV1, and AFI 11‑2MDSV3. /li liExperience coordinating across multiple squadron functions and support elements. /li liStrong organizational and communication skills. /li liProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint). /li liClearance: Must possess and maintain an Active Secret Security Clearance. /li liValid U.S. Passport and ability to travel OCONUS as needed. /li /ul h3Preferred /h3 ul liPrior scheduling experience within a fighter or rescue squadron. /li liFamiliarity with USAFE-AFAFRICA scheduling and training systems. /li liExperience supporting joint or NATO operations in the European or African theaters. /li liPrevious Air Force service in Operations, Training, or Stan/Eval roles. /li /ul h3Physical Requirements /h3 pMay require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment.
