The HSE, Maintenance & General Services Specialist is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day operations related to HSE, Maintenance, and General Services at the Muggiò headquarters and occasionally at external service centers in Italy and Greece. This role reports directly to the Quality Manager and collaborates closely with the Quality Department, Operations, Purchasing, and the Global/Regional HSE organization. Responsibilities & Duties Implement safety, health, industrial hygiene, and environmental protection programs, ensuring full compliance with ISO 45001, 14001, and Italian D.Lgs 81/2008 standards. Manage maintenance programs for equipment, systems, tools, and oversee small facility upgrades. Provide employee training through various methods and media, effectively communicating with individuals and groups of varying skill levels. Maintain HSE-related programs and databases using dedicated software like Risolvo. Sustain and improve the QHSE Management System. Conduct root cause analyses, facilitate effective communication, and promote a culture of near-miss reporting and resolution. Interpret and communicate technical documents such as HSE procedures, risk assessments, and dispositions to workers, visitors, and personnel. Support internal and external audits at service centers. Participate in supplier qualification processes, focusing on HSE and quality documentation. Assist the purchasing department in aligning suppliers and negotiating best prices. Scout for alternative suppliers for maintenance and non-production services. Coordinate with suppliers for extraordinary maintenance activities, including re-layouts and modifications. Familiarity with HSE Management Standards (ISO 45001 / 14001) and auditing standards (ISO 19011). Proficiency in MS Office and SAP. Effective communication skills and ability to interact with a diverse workforce. Systematic working approach, following detailed plans and respecting deadlines.
