It has been investing in and operating shipping assets since 1971. We are searching for a Junior Finance Controller in IT Department for a 6 months contract. This temporary position could lead to a permanent contract under certain conditions. Primary Responsibilities And Duties - Assists in the production of the quarterly IT budget and Forecast reports, and the drafting of the annual IT budget and presentations - Provides support and assistance in tracking costs, identifying variances, and updating the related documentation with the latest available information - Calculate variances from the IT budget and reports significant issues to IT management - Develops ad-hoc reports and analysis, as/if required by the management - Collaborates with Accounting and the Budgeting, Controlling & Audit departments - Ensures that all IT financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported Experience Not expected (first employment) Competencies - Good proficiency on Microsoft Office (especially excel) - Good communication - Fluent in English - Team Player - Basic Accounting knowledge Qualifications Degree in Economics / Finance At Scorpio, our people are our strength, and their diverse talents are directly linked to our success.
