With the aim of supporting the Automation Department in managing equipment and industrial systems' automation, we are recruiting a:
Automation Specialist
1. Main Responsibilities
2. Supporting management of existing PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems.
3. Managing OT infrastructure supporting SCADA and PLC networks.
4. Monitoring OT network performance and adjusting as needed.
5. Diagnosing and troubleshooting faults in automation systems with supplier support.
6. Managing automation and network suppliers for maintenance and new projects.
7. Supervising new project phases, including URS drafting, planning, supplier selection, installation, and IOPQ supervision.
8. Managing peripheral and core switches, firewalls, and infrastructure servers with suppliers’ support.
9. Coordinating OT network physical connections of automation systems.
10. Managing user policies for OT network access.
11. Collaborating with Engineering, IT, and Production teams.
Requirements
1. High school diploma; preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Automation, or Computer Science.
2. At least 5 years of experience as a PLC and SCADA Programmer or similar in the engineering industry.
3. Knowledge of network infrastructure and hardware.
4. Proficiency in PLC programming languages such as ladder logic and sequential function charts.
5. Experience with SCADA development platforms.
6. Good written and spoken English skills.
7. Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
8. Strong communication and planning skills.
Our Offer
We offer a permanent contract with a salary between €41,000 and €45,000, graded B under the Chemical Pharmaceutical National Collective Agreement.
