This role in summary
As a Budget & Reporting Intern, you will support the Budget & Reporting Manager and the team in various reporting analysis and forecast tasks related to Italy market operations environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with reporting datasets while developing your skills in Excel and financial analysis.
Your responsibilities will include
- Contribute to month-end closing activities by preparing and reviewing financial statements in line with IFRS and local statutory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of Budget and quarterly forecasts in compliance with Group standards.
- Support with recurring P&L; reporting, Balance sheet and accounting reconciliations.
- Track and monitoring commercial, financial and operational KPIs.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and presentations.
- Contribute to full cycle of financial reporting processes using SAP, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Analyzing financial data from a controlling perspective and maintaining updated financial databases and spreadsheets.
- Work closely with team members to improve financial models and processes.
- Take part in team meetings and contribute to discussions and initiatives.
Minimum requirements
- Currently pursuing a master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Fluent in English, Italian would be an asset
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and work with SAP tools and financial datasets.
