Responsibilities
* Manage bill certification and handle the variation process, ensuring accurate cost adjustments.
* Perform and validate accurate measurement of all construction items to support cost estimation and budgeting.
* Maintain and update the drawing register, including drawing names, revisions, and availability status.
* Read and interpret construction drawings to ensure cost accuracy and project alignment.
* Prepare detailed inputs for cost reports and the first drafts of such reports, ensuring accuracy in financial data for decision-making.
* Demonstrate knowledge of construction methodologies and the sequence of works to support cost planning.
* Prepare Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) with minimal supervision, ensuring reinforcement costs are well-managed.
* Conduct comprehensive rate analysis by evaluating materials, labor, and equipment costs to ensure competitive pricing.
* Ensure adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) standards in all cost management processes.
* Manage the cost management team, ensuring performance and deliverables meet project requirements.
* Actively involve and lead team at site in client meetings, providing updates on project costs and addressing client concerns effectively.
* Collaborate with PMC, clients, architects, and contractors to ensure alignment on cost-related matters.
* Stay abreast on material trends and technological advancements for cost-effective solutions.
* Maintain up-to-date market awareness of key material costs to inform procurement strategies.
* Carry out interim valuations for payment for Contractors.
Experience
7-10 years work exp in Post contract
