Reporting to the GM Italy and located remotely in Italy, the Senior Manager, Health Partnership Lead, will be the first customer-facing role in Moderna’s newly-chartered mission to commercialize vaccines that serve previously unmet medical needs. This role is critical to Moderna’s transition from clinical to commercial organization, bringing thought leadership and a drive to win the market. You will join a dynamic, fast-growing country organization that is blazing trails, and you will focus on shaping the market and winning with customers in the Public Health space, as well as with Contracting Bodies. The Health Partnership Lead will work closely with colleagues across commercial and access organizations to establish product strategies, position Moderna and its products, engage stakeholders at national and regional levels, and implement omnichannel tactics to drive growth, market impact, and profitable sales. Key Responsibilities: Strategize and Think Different Understand and anticipate Regional Health Administration’s goals and needs, identify business opportunities, and develop integrated account plans in alignment with cross-functional teams. Develop innovative key account segmentation and solutions across B2C and B2B segments to build a winning platform for Moderna’s brands and products. Create new and non-traditional commercial channels for Moderna’s vaccines. Leverage data and digital tools to prioritize opportunities, build relationships, and establish trust with internal teams and customers. Ensure understanding and successful execution of regional tenders. Build Strong Partnerships, Internally and Externally Establish and maintain relationships with physicians, regional health authorities, public officials, and other stakeholders to communicate Moderna’s value proposition. Develop access solutions for key customer segments, including retailers, wholesalers, public channels, and health networks. Maintain understanding of the competitive landscape and policy environment for vaccines like mRNA-1273 COVID-19, RSV, Flu, and CMV. Contribute to building Moderna’s vaccines commercial organization in new markets. Translate regional stakeholder needs into customer-focused strategies. Implement tender strategies and oversee key account activities, managing distributors and agents to optimize relationships and performance. Ensure compliance with policies, healthcare laws, and regulations. Onboarding and Initial Goals Within the first month, complete onboarding, understand company strategy, and embody Moderna’s values.
