NIDEC FIR INTERNATIONAL Srl, a company belonging to a Japanese multinational group leader in the design and production of ELECTRIC MOTORS with a strong presence in the foreign market, is looking for its Casalmaggiore (CR) plant a Procurement Specialist.Main Responsibilities:
Actively participate in the Transformation, Make or Buy, Supplier Excellence, and Risk Management fronts.Develop projects for new and/or current suppliers (prioritization) and manage commercial relationships with the supplier by formalizing commercial agreements in order to maintain the relationships or create new ones.Manage direct material cost management, leading negotiations at the local level. Also negotiate prices and monitor KPIs that impact supplier prices to ensure competitiveness of the values negotiated between Nidec and suppliers.Align with Logistics on supplier supply and service to production planning. In case of divergent invoices from suppliers, analyze the situations for release and/or unblocking.Align with Quality on quality KPIs of items supplied to the Plant.Prospect, develop and certify local and international suppliers of Raw Materials, Auxiliary Production Materials and services, following the procedures and assessments required to meet Cost, quality, logistics, legal and sustainability requirements.Prospect, develop and certify Raw Materials, Auxiliary Production Materials and services within the deadline agreed upon in the Certification planning, following the procedures and assessments required to meet Cost, quality, logistics, legal and sustainability requirements.Requirements:
