Bedeschi S.p.A. is seeking a Senior Project Manager (m / f / d) for its office in Padova. As the business continues to expand, the firm is looking for experienced managers with a strong engineering background who can manage complex projects with a high degree of autonomy. This will allow the executive team to focus on strategic growth and further development of the organization’s structure.
Your profile
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or a related field
* Fluent Italian and English, additional foreign languages are a plus
* Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite
* Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management for industrial machinery and plant projects
* Strong knowledge of Project Management tools and methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2)
* Experience in managing contractual and financial aspects of projects
* Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
* Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
* Customer-oriented approach with a focus on delivering value
Tasks
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the operational and managerial oversight of industrial projects, ensuring effective coordination across cross-functional teams. The role requires maintaining time, cost, and quality control, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements, and optimizing customer satisfaction.
* Assist in the final phase of commercial negotiations.
* Verify the completeness of all contractual documentation before project initiation.
* Financial & Risk Management Analyze the commercial budget and develop a comprehensive financial plan (Cash Flow).
* Assess potential risks, including Liquidated Damages and Back Charges.
* Maintain an updated project budget and promptly report significant deviations to management.
* Oversee time and cost control, anticipating risks and coordinating with key departments (Project Engineering, Purchasing / Expediting, Logistics, and After-Sales).
* Approve technical variations in collaboration with the engineering team and coordinate supplier selection with the Buyer.
* Manage project scheduling, including Expediting and Logistics activities.
* Ensure the project is completed in full compliance with PAC and FAC contractual requirements.
