Role Descritpion We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to play a critical role in the electrical design, power conversion, and system integration of battery stacks and containerized energy systems. This position is intended for an experienced professional who will act as a technical reference for electrical architecture, power electronics integration, and robustness of both stack modules and container-level systems. The role sits at a key interface between component-level electrical design and overall system integration. The Senior Electrical Engineer will work closely with the Head of Product and the automation team, ensuring coherent integration of power conversion units, electrical distribution, protection systems, and control interfaces. The position combines hands-on electrical design, system engineering judgment, and cross-functional coordination, supporting the transition from laboratory and pilot-scale systems to industrialized containerized solutions.
Responsibilities Lead electrical design of battery systems (power distribution, wiring, interfaces) Define electrical architecture at stack and container level Design and integrate power conversion systems (DC/DC, DC/AC, bidirectional) Collaborate with automation engineers on sensors, actuators, and communication interfaces Interface with Head of Product on system layout, integration, and scalability Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety, and grid requirements Perform analyses on power flows, efficiency, losses, grounding, and protection systems Support DFM, DFA, and serviceability from an electrical perspective Define electrical standards, guidelines, and best practices Support prototyping, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting Contribute to product roadmap and system-level decisions
Qualifications MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Power Conversion Engineering, or related field 6+ years in electrical design of complex systems (energy storage, power electronics, or similar) Strong experience in power conversion and electrical system architecture Experience with grid-connected systems and standards Experience in multidisciplinary R&D and Engineering environments Strong problem-solving and engineering judgment Ability to combine hands-on work with system-level thinking Excellent written and spoken English
