Job Purpose
The core purpose of the Customer Care Specialist is to grow, retain and serve the customer through commercial, local customer ownership while maximizing profitability. The Customer Care Specialist delivers excellence in every local interaction and thereby elevates the customer experience across all touchpoints.
Main Responsibilities
* Act as the main point of contact for assigned local customers, proactively owning the customer experience and ensuring service and satisfaction at the highest level.
* Drive customer growth, retention, and serve local customers with all their requirements.
* Maximize customer profitability by owning and executing daily commercial activities including:
* Lead and manage customer growth & retention analysis and actions.
* Upsell K+N services and products to support customer requirements.
* Execute spot quotations and follow up.
* Own profitability management and lead improvement actions through internal collaboration.
* Manage commercial financials to resolve bad debt issues.
* Maintain relationships and communications: customer promise impact, bookings clarification, shipment updates and deviation communication.
* Monitor customer promise: deliver overall transit time and commercial conditions as promised.
* Onboard and support new customers through Implementation processes, create and complete shipment files, and guide customers to meet compliance and regulation standards.
* Maintain accurate customer data within the Business Profile, ensure healthy credit limits, and load valid rates into systems in a timely manner.
* Manage dispute resolution: handle all customer complaints and claims with empathy through to resolution, follow internal escalation paths, and ensure claims are logged in the portal system.
