Salary: €28,000 – €34,000 per year
Responsibilities
- Support assessment of GMO applications and generic mandates.
- Draft, edit and publish scientific outputs.
- Run queries and perform searches in databases.
- Prepare summary data tables.
- Provide support to the Food and Feed Working Group and Panel, including document management and drafting/publishing minutes, according to relevant procedures.
- Process dossier data and report scientific compliance in accordance with EFSA Guidance provisions.
- Apply specific knowledge in toxicology risk assessment (GMOs) and protein safety to technical tasks.
Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of English (at least C1 level).
- Previous experience in toxicology risk assessment and protein safety assessment.
- Experience in collecting, collating evidence, analyzing and interpreting data using statistics.
- Experience in laboratory safety testing or investigations of proteins (asset).
- Experience in GM plants field (asset).
