Ultimately, you will enhance the client’s business intelligence system to help them make better decisions.ResponsibilitiesTranslate business needs to technical specificationsDesign, build and deploy BI solutions (e.G. reporting tools)Maintain and support data analytics platforms (e.G. MicroStrategy)Create tools to store data (e.G. OLAP cubes)Conduct unit testing and troubleshootingEvaluate and improve existing BI systemsCollaborate with teams to integrate systemsDevelop and execute database queries and conduct analysesCreate visualizations and reports for requested projectsDevelop and update technical documentationRequirementsProven experience as a BI Developer or Data ScientistIndustry experience is preferredBackground in data warehouse design (e.G. dimensional modelling) and data miningIn-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) frameworkFamiliarity with BI technologies (e.G.
