ABOUT THE JOB The Solution Engagement Consultant provides value to customers to gain, retain, and grow UPS’s business across functions (e.g., Supply Chain Solutions, Freight, and Package), by demonstrating solutions to improve the customers’ bottom line. By engaging with our customers and working closely with the sales team, you will be responsible for gaining, retaining, and growing UPS business which will, in turn, support your monthly KPIs. You will work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a significant focus on customer experience. This role covers Venezia, Padova, Treviso, Vicenza, Bologna. What You’ll Do Conduct research to understand the customer’s business (e.g., goals, volume, trends, etc.), to maximize discussions on value add solutions. Evaluate customers’ business (e.g., processes, issues, needs, etc.) by Supply Chain Mapping and propose viable solutions to obtain financial, quality, and process improvements, to increase cost savings, enhance efficiency, and build and strengthen partnerships. Prepare customer proposals and presentations to demonstrate the value added of UPS’s solutions and grow the business. Deliver customer proposals and presentations to propose new ideas, methods, and technology for streamlining processes and obtaining customers’ commitment. What You’ll Need Experience in a customer-facing role with strong analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure. University degree (Minimum is Bachelor) Excellent communicator, including verbal, written, and presentation skills. Effective time management, specifically in the areas of planning, organization, and project execution. Technology skills - proficient in Microsoft Office packages with the ability to use project management and presentation tools. Fluent in English and Italian. Valid driver’s license, a Company Car is provided.
