We are looking for an E-commerce Manager to lead and grow our Direct-to-Consumer sales channel. This is a hands-on role, combining strategic vision with operational execution. Your primary goal will be to drive traffic, increase conversion rates and boost sales, while consistently enhancing the Customer Experience.
You will work closely with Marketing, Sales, Operations and Customer Service teams, as well as coordinate with our web agency.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement and execute the D2C sales strategy
* Manage and optimize the e-commerce platform
* Manage and update the product catalog - product pages, content, images, descriptions, SEO
* Plan and execute digital marketing and email marketing campaigns
* Optimize sales performance, conversion rates, and the overall Customer Experience
* Monitor sales performance, conversion rates and the overall Customer Experience
* Track and analyze channel KPIs, producing regular reports
* Collaborate with Operations to plan and monitor inventory
* Work with Customer Service to improve processes and customer satisfaction
* Coordinate with Marketing and Sales to ensure an integrated commercial strategy
* Identify opportunities for growth and optimization
Requirements
* 3+ years of experience in e-commerce roles – preferably in cycling, sports or lifestyle industries
* Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Shopify, others); experience in replatforming projects is a plus
* Solid understanding of digital marketing tools and email marketing automation
* Ability to work both strategically and operationally
* A results-oriented approach with strong analytical skills
* Excellent command of English
* Plus: passion for cycling and sports products
The role is based at MET HQ in Talamona, Italy. We do not consider remote applicants for this role.
