We are looking for a Quality Engineer to take part in Şişecam Flat Glass Italy located in San Giorgio di Nogaro (UD). The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering fields
* Min. 3 years of experience in the role, preferably in the automotive sector
* Availability for travel both to Italian and European plants
* Good knowledge of English and Italian
* Leadership, personnel management, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
* Holding Six Sigma certifications
Role Description
* Collaborating on a daily basis with the Regional & Quality Manager to coordinate and oversee quality-related operations, ensuring the timely execution of assigned responsibilities
* Supporting the implementation and maintenance of quality management and integrated system processes at the plant level
* Facilitating effective and structured communication between central management and local production sites, with a particular focus on continuous improvement initiatives, audit processes, certification activities, new product development, and overall quality governance
* Participating in internal audits and contributing to cross-functional quality improvement teams to drive operational excellence
* Contributing to the preparation and regular updating of daily, weekly, and monthly reports by providing relevant data
* Assisting the Regional Quality & Environment Manager in implementing corrective actions and providing necessary information in cases of non-compliance with key performance indicators (KPIs)
