In this role you will prove your technical background and your leadership skills, and your active contribution will be instrumental in ensuring that manufacturing objectives and client's satisfaction are met.
**What will you do?**
- Responsible for the line management of staff and overall execution of production protocols, scheduling activities, troubleshooting process anomalies, serving as a process SME.
- Participate in implementation of new technologies and inspire innovation and appropriate change to drive for continuously improved systems.
- Develop batch records, SOPs and training materials for ramp up for production
- Oversee the hiring, training, development, retention and performance of staff for the leadership and execution of manufacturing operations.
- Ensure plans and resources (people, facilities, supplies etc.) are efficiently utilized to manufacture mRNA products.
- Adhering to Quality Management Systems and completing associated documentation.
- Additional duties include but are not limited to preparation of buffers, sampling, in-process testing, assembling, preparing, operating and cleaning of the equipment used in the upstream and downstream
- Collaborate daily with cross-functional departments to meet operational needs.
**How will you get here?**
- Degree in Biotechnology field or proven experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing department
- Experience with large molecules drug substance manufacturing. Experience with purification techniques and with mRNA-based treatments is considered a plus.
- Experience as a team leader, shift leader or similar roles
- Knowledge of GMP and aseptic techniques
- Italian and English
- Availability to work on shifts
