Overview
FAAM is building a Gigafactory in Teverola to produce cells, modules, and battery packs for electric vehicles, energy storage, industrial, and special applications. Join us to help deploy one of Europe’s most strategic projects in the lithium battery value chain.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and test software that controls microcontrollers used in embedded devices and systems.
* Write efficient and reliable code for microcontrollers using C, C++, Assembly, and other high‑level languages.
* Debug and analyze software problems to ensure microcontrollers operate correctly and without errors.
* Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software into microcontrollers, ensuring compliance and optimization for hardware specifications.
* Improve software performance by reducing power consumption and optimizing computational efficiency.
* Conduct unit and system level testing to ensure stability and quality of the final product.
* Prepare detailed technical documentation, including user manuals and technical specifications, to support software development and use.
* Keep abreast of new technologies, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve skills and development practices.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
* Thorough knowledge of microcontrollers, embedded architectures, and major programming languages used in the industry.
* Experience in microcontroller software development, preferably in real‑world projects or academic settings.
* Knowledge of software development and debugging tools for microcontrollers.
* Ability to analyze technical specifics and translate them into functional code.
* Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Team‑working aptitude and ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
* Good knowledge of technical English for consulting international documentation and resources.
* Ability to work in a dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
Work Conditions
* Location: Teverola, Caserta, Southern Italy.
* Live and work close to Naples, Costiera Amalfitana, Capri, and Rome.
* Stimulating work environment with a private and pleasant office.
* Full‑time job.
* Salary to be defined with management (negotiable).
