Your Role
FAAC Technologies is currently looking for an Electronic Hardware/Firmware Engineer for its headquarter in Zola Predosa, Bologna.
As an Electronic Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting Product Portfolio Department in all phases of product development, and you will be involved in electronic design activities for hardware and firmware aimed at developing electronic cards for vehicle and pedestrian access control, AC and DC electric motors, sensors and control devices, contributing to our mission to simplify and secure access globally .
Key Responsibilities
• Identify the technical specifications of the product
• Plan design and development activities
• Design the electronics and coordinate any activities with external studios or testing laboratories
• Definition of product operating algorithms
• Creation of source codes on microcontroller and debugging
• Coordinate prototyping and conduct related verification and validation tests
• Take care of industrialization
What do You need to be successful?
• Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent specialization.
• At least 2 years in firmware or/and hardware development.
• Knowledge of analog and digital electronic circuits, programming languages for microcontrollers as C, motor control techniques, EMC problems.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Interested in investigating and resolving all product related issues, from conception to production, beyond the purely electronic aspects.
• Attitude to work towards objectives and the ability to integrate within a work group.
