It delivers innovative and field‑tested science and technology (ST) solutions to address defence and security needs of the Alliance. /b /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign and implement scalable, distributed systems using modern cloud‑native technologies and employing modern architectural patterns, such as micro services. /li liMentor development teams on software design principles, including object‑oriented patterns, SOLID principles, and architectural best practices. /li liEstablish and enforce quality standards through secure coding practices, test‑driven development, and continuous integration/delivery pipelines. /li /ul h3Essential Qualifications Experience /h3 ul liA minimum requirement of a bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised or certified university in an information systems, physics, electronics or related scientific or engineering discipline, and 2 years post‑related experience. /li liAt least 3 years of proven track record designing and delivering complex, resilient, and secure software systems using modern development practices, distributed architectures, and contemporary cloud platforms with DevSecOps methodologies. /li liProfessional experience documenting and communicating architectural decisions using industry‑standard frameworks and practices (e.g., C4 models, ADR, UML, etc.). /li liStrong background in mentoring technical teams and establishing excellence in engineering standards across development organisations. /li liProfessional experience working within agile frameworks while maintaining architectural governance and guiding teams through iterative delivery. /li liStrong foundation in modern technology stacks, cloud platforms, security principles, and enterprise architecture frameworks. /li liVery good level of spoken and written English. /li /ul pIf you have read the description and feel this role is a great match, we would love to hear from you!
