Soilmec SpA, for its Cesena headquarters, is looking for a:
Calibration & Application Manager
The resource will be responsible for managing and coordinating the team that defines, sets, and tests the parameters necessary for the correct calibration of a machine. They also participate in the activities of defining project specifications and drafting documentation for testing and calibration. They are responsible for defining software usability criteria during the design phase of new products or applications, testing their implementation during the prototype phase, and performing calibration activities.
Activities:
1. Coordinates activities for defining specifications aimed at optimizing software usability.
2. Coordinates team activities preparatory to drafting testing and validation documentation (machine sheets, test sheets, sequences).
3. Coordinates functional testing activities of new products or applications, in collaboration with other departments.
4. Coordinates calibration activities of new products or applications in collaboration with other departments.
5. Coordinates support activities for the Production and Testing areas regarding issues related to the software installed on machines, in collaboration with the Software & Control Area, or related to calibration issues.
6. Coordinates support activities for the Service area regarding issues related to the software installed on machines, in collaboration with the Software & Control Area, or related to calibration issues.
7. Supervises technical documentation.
8. Contributes to drafting the technical dossier.
9. Coordinates design activities and monitors the progress status of various projects related to team activities.
Requirements:
10. Degree in Electronic, Electrical, or Automation Engineering.
11. Experience in team management and activity planning.
12. Knowledge of Project Management methodologies and problem-solving techniques.
13. Knowledge of domain ERP and PLM software.
14. Basic skills in software development for industrial automation.
15. Good interpersonal skills.
