Mission
Supplier relationship:·
1. Identification of project and business needs
2. Preparation and launch of Request For Quotation with suppliers using the standard tool
3. Negotiation of cost reduction with suppliers
4. Inputs provider/contributor for order placement
5. Ensure QCD targets achievement, CONQ (Cost Of Non Quality) & claims management
6. Lead supplier QCD performance reviews
7. Management of initial issues before escalation to line manager
8. Respect Alstom Transport code of ethics and guidelines
Commodity support on site:
9. Consolidation of commodity needs, inputs
10. Active participation to commodity strategy and panel elaboration
11. Support of Commodity Manager in tender phase
12. Represent the commodities towards projects, platforms and solutions.
13. Effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving
14. Apply the Alstom Transport Sourcing process, and provide return on experience
Involvement in projects:
15. Closely work with sourcing project representatives (Project Sourcing Manager, etc...)
16. Ensure work package sheet commitment respect
17. Ensure QCD targets
Educational requirements
Business school or Engineering degree
Technical Knowledge / Experience
Fluent English and international background is a must
Behavioral and Technical Skills / Competencies
Good interpersonal skills (leadership and communication)
