Ph3Description /h3 pHere at Amazon we are currently looking for an experienced Senior Health Safety Manager to join the team and play a critical role in managing the health and safety within the Amazon Fulfilment Centre (FC). /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liManaging the health and safety function at the FC, including supervision of staff to ensure delivery of objectives. /li liProactively engaging in collaborative health and safety projects across all operations sites. /li liProviding advice and guidance on health safety matters to all stakeholders within the designated area of responsibility. /li liReviewing and auditing arrangements for health safety management and continuously improving these arrangements where appropriate. /li liProviding strategies to plan and organise work systems to reduce health safety risks and recommending suitable adaptations to plant, machinery and processes. /li liEnsuring robust reporting regimes are in place for HS statistics. /li liProviding management information and statistics related to the area of responsibility. /li liSupporting business change through effective change management processes within the fast‑paced FC environment. /li liDriving behavioural culture change programme across a large, complex, multi‑shift operation. /li liImplementation and review of company global safety policies, ensuring that local legislative requirements are also met. /li /ul h3About The Team /h3 pWorkplace Health and Safety (WHS) plays a crucial role in keeping our people mentally and physically well at work. Our team works with managers, associates and local governments across our sites, ensuring compliance with Amazon’s policies and legal regulations, and that our workplaces are safe. /p h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liA Bachelor degree or equivalent level of qualification in line with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) RSPP certified. /li liRelevant experience managing a team. /li liRelevant experience complying with local Health and Safety legislation. /li liAdvanced proficiency in verbal and written English and Italian. /li liExperience operating at all levels of the organization. /li liExperience driving significant change through an operation. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience with Lean, 5S and Kaizen methodologies. /li liQualifications or experience in the field of sustainability. /li liRelevant experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership. /li liChartered membership of a Human Resources industry body (e.g., IOSH) to support people management. /li /ul h3Equal Opportunity Statement /h3 pAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
