Offer Description
The goal of this project is to strengthen and direct the experimental effort toward the detection of both QCD axions and axion-like particles by studying non-minimal scenarios and mapping the regions of parameter space motivated by them. This work is essential to support the development and implementation of the next generation of experiments dedicated to axion research. Specifically, the cosmological evolution of non-minimal scenarios will be analyzed to assess the potential for dark matter production and understand the signatures in observable cosmological data, including gravitational waves. The work will focus on the cosmology and phenomenology of axions and other forms of ultralight matter.
