TÜV SÜD brings trust in sustainability and contributes to the fight against greenwashing. This position supports companies in addressing LCA and GHG topics, increasing their market credibility.
We seek a motivated team player with an innovative mindset, knowledgeable in Life Cycle Assessment and Greenhouse Gases. You will support the sustainability team in challenging LCA and GHG projects, contributing to the development of the global sustainability program.
You will help build and expand services that facilitate companies' transition towards a Circular Economy for their products and services, working with a team of specialists.
Your Tasks:
* Develop skills in assessing and auditing sustainability projects, focusing on LCA and GHG studies across various industries and clients.
* Assist the sustainability team in responding to market requests, participating in the full process from pre-engagement to project completion, supporting the growth of product sustainability services at national and European levels.
* Support the team in establishing and maintaining technical knowledge by building relationships with internal and external experts, academic institutions, research bodies, and regulatory agencies.
Your Qualifications:
* A degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Materials Science, or related fields; a graduate degree (e.g., PhD) is a plus.
* 2-4 years of relevant experience in LCA/GHG services within consulting, industry, or academia.
* Good knowledge of LCA/GHG standards (ISO 14040-14044, ISO 14025, ISO 14067, ISO 14064, GHG Protocol).
* Knowledge of additional standards such as ISO 14021, PAS 2060, GRI, SBTi is advantageous.
* Proficiency with LCA software tools like SimaPro, GaBi, OpenLCA, or Umberto.
* Understanding of climate change, resource efficiency, energy, carbon, sustainable materials, and supply chains.
* Curious and creative mindset.
* Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., French, German) are a plus.
