Job Description
As the Lobby Bar & Wagon Bar Manager, you will lead with excellence in a fast-paced, luxurious environment, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while managing the team, operations, and profitability of the bar.
Key responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
* Lead, motivate, and develop a passionate, service-oriented team.
* Recruit, onboard, and continuously train team members to deliver outstanding service.
* Efficiently schedule staff to ensure optimal coverage during peak and off-peak hours.
Guest Experience & Service Excellence
* Deliver a seamless and memorable guest experience by anticipating and exceeding guest needs.
* Engage with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and promptly resolve any concerns.
* Maintain a unique and immersive atmosphere by managing ambiance, music, and presentation.
Operational Oversight
* Oversee daily operations including inventory management, product quality, and compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
* Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistent service quality.
* Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure ingredient quality and menu consistency.
Financial Performance & Optimization
* Achieve and exceed financial targets through effective cost control and sales strategies.
* Analyze financial reports to identify improvement opportunities and adjust operations accordingly.
* Explore new revenue streams such as private events and partnerships.
Innovation & Industry Awareness
* Stay updated on industry trends to continuously enhance the bar’s offerings and guest experience.
* Introduce creative ideas to improve operations and overall bar vibe.
Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years’ experience managing a bar or restaurant, preferably within a luxury hotel setting.
* Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
* Proficient in restaurant management software and POS systems.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English; additional languages are a plus.
* Strong organizational skills, leadership ability, and keen attention to detail.
* In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
* Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Proactive, hands-on attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
* Professional and polished appearance in line with brand standards.
