TXT E-Tech S.r.l., a company of the TXT Group, is looking for a new resource to be employed as Avionics Software Engineer, within the Embedded Systems for Aerospace Applications Business Unit.
The resource will be in charge of Verification and Validation activities of Safety Critical Avionic Systems in the AeroSpace and Defence fields.
Main responsibilities
Development and execution of integration/unit-testing verification cases for airborne safety-critical embedded systems;
Development of automation test sequences (using C/C++ or Simulink);
Participation to integration activities;
Preparation of technical documentation;
Involvement in Aircraft Certification and Rig/Flight Testing result analysis.
Mandatory technical skills
Knowledge of at least one programming language among the following: C, C++, C#, Java, Javascript, Python, Visual Basic, Ada95 or similar;
Basic knowledge of the operating principles of avionics systems (sensors, instrumentation, navigation, etc.);
Knowledge of modelling languages (Simulink, SCADE or equivalent);
Knowledge of the operating principles of avionics systems.
Previous experience with real-time embedded systems is considered a PLUS.
Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer, Aerospace, Mechanical or Electronic Engineering.
