Sales operation and performance management specialist

The Sales Operation and Performance Management Specialist contributes to the sales execution excellence by translating commercial strategy into effective planning, processes, systems, and insights.

This role partners closely with Sales team, Finance, Commercial, Product, Marketing and IT to drive predictable revenue growth, improve sales productivity, and support data driven decision making.


Key accountabilities and decision ownership:


Sales Planning & Performance Management

Manage annual, quarterly, and weekly sales planning cycles by aligning targets, territories, and capacity with the overall commercial strategy, while owning the core sales performance frameworks and KPIs and leading forecast governance and performance routines to ensure clear visibility into risks and opportunities.


Sales Deal Governance & Enablement

Work closely with the Commercial team to qualify deals early, manage discounting, assess risks, and secure timely approvals, while simplifying and standardizing business cases and approval flows to accelerate decision‑making and protect price and margin; additionally, support cross‑functional deal reviews with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Risk to remove obstacles and ensure smooth, successful deal closure.


Salesforce CRM Ownership

Act as the business owner of Salesforce CRM, define data standards, and governance while driving user adoption, data quality, and automation to enhance sales effectiveness and forecasting accuracy; deliver actionable dashboards and insights for sales leaders and frontline teams, and partner with IT and Enablement to prioritize system enhancements and manage change effectively.


Market Intelligence

Support the development of commercial insights by analyzing market size, growth, competition, pricing, and share, delivering segment and vertical assessments to identify growth opportunities; run win/loss analyses to inform sales strategy, and regularly provide senior leadership with market and competitive updates to guide strategic decision‑making.


Market Expansion Support

Support the evaluation of new markets by developing business cases and contributing to sales operating models, coverage plans, and KPIs for expansion initiatives and pilots; support in shaping partner and indirect channel frameworks where relevant, while continuously tracking expansion performance and recommending scale‑up or course‑correction actions as needed.


Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

* Experience in sales operations, commercial excellence, or sales performance management
* Proven ability to work cross functionally with senior stakeholders
* Deep understanding of sales planning, CRM (Salesforce), and deal governance processes
* Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
* Ability to simplify complexity and drive disciplined execution at scale


Must have technical / professional qualifications:

* Degree qualified.
* Experience in working with large corporates.
* Multiple languages preferred.
* IT knowledge: Windows, MS Office, Salesforce.


KPIs:

* Forecast accuracy
* Sales request turnaround time
* Selling Time % (Admin Burden Reduction)
