As a Battery Energy Storage Expert, you will join Plenitude Societa Benefit. Specifically, the Storage team contributes its technical expertise, along with other functions, to all aspects of the development and construction of BESS systems in Italy and the countries where Plenitude operates. This includes both purely technical and engineering aspects, as well as modeling and technical-economic analysis, which therefore include a focus on the electricity system and energy markets.Main activitiesSupport the development of storage / hybrid projects and / or M&A activities by coordinating the activities themselves and directly contributing to the preliminary engineering phases (DC part, conversion, connection, control, EPC).Carry out market monitoring and manage the relationship with suppliers, ensuring an in-depth mapping of commercial and developing technological solutions with particular reference to the DC component, PCs (inverters, LV / MV transformers), system control (PPC, remote control systems, SCADA, integration with TSO) and grid connection, considering international standards and current connection requirements.Provide specialized technical support for the development of storage projects in relation to the preparation of preliminary (feasibility), basic and detailed design.Participate in the screening process of possible initiatives through preliminary studies and analyses and in the procurement process, overseeing the development of technical specifications (product, execution of works / EPC and O&M) and supervising the alignment and technical evaluation phase of the offers.Contribute to specialized technical support for the operational management of storage systems in operation: definition of remote control system specifications, operational analysis.Contribute (coordination of activities and direct contribution) to the development or updating of technical specifications and / or company standards relating to storage systems.Required characteristicsMaster's degree in Electrical / Energy Engineering; lower / different qualifications may be considered with significant experience in the specific field.At least 5 years of experience in utility‐scale (10MW) renewable energy generation in Italy or abroad; at least 2 years of experience in BESS system engineering / operation in Italy or abroad.Good knowledge of CEI / IEC standards and specific sector legislation.Good knowledge of the English language.Availability to travel internationally.Milan and Rome offices.We promote flexible work arrangements, including smart working options, to support a better work‐life balance.We offerPermanent employment contract; our national collective labor agreement and the Energy and Oil National Collective Bargaining Agreement.Compensation commensurate with the person's experience.Reward system and comprehensive program of benefits and welfare initiatives.A work environment where each resource can feel recognized and appreciated in their uniqueness.#J-18808-Ljbffr
