Job Summary:

This role involves daily management of department duties, including labor allocation, leading meetings, assigning job duties, providing work direction, and communicating with internal and external suppliers.

Main Responsibilities:

* Track and report ATS/labor hours
">
* Assist with production duties, train associates, and verify SOP compliance
">
* Evaluate area performance by tracking and reporting metrics
">
* Provide timely and detailed feedback to associates on their work performance
">
* Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives
">
* Maintain a thorough understanding of workflow and daily production goals
">
* Review and update SOPs as required
">
* Maintain clean and properly equipped work areas
">
* Identify and address safety hazards within the work area and participate in safety initiatives
">
* Coach associates on safe work practices
">
* Report job injuries timely according to established policies and procedures
">
* Provide vacation coverage for Area Managers
">
">
Requirements:
">
1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
">
High school or equivalent education
">
Flexible schedule/shift/work area availability, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
">
Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
">
Able to work 40 hours/week and overtime as required
">
At least 18 years of age
">
Preferred Qualifications:

* Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, and/or prior experience

* Awareness and willingness to use OPEX tools and techniques
">
* Demonstrates problem-solving and analytical skills

* Effective communication (written and verbal) across various levels of an organization

* History of meeting/exceeding departmental goals

* Experience leading teams

* Capable of providing direction to team members using independent judgment

* Organization and time management skills
