With solid understanding of industrial value-creation processes, the accountant ensures that entries, closings, and financial analyses accurately reflect the economic realities of production, inventory, and project activities.Main ResponsibilitiesFinancial and General Ledger Accounting- Independent management of the general ledger and selected sub-ledgers.- Ensuring correct accounting of production orders, projects, and inventory movements.- Execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings according to local regulations and relevant accounting standards (IFRS).- Reconciliation of accounts and monitoring of balance sheet and profit & loss items.- Supporting the posting of all ongoing business transactions (accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank, cash, fixed assets)Fixed Asset and Project Accounting- Maintenance of fixed assets, including capitalizations, depreciation, and disposals.- Accounting support for investment and production-related projects.- Monitoring CAPEX budgets and verifying correct accounting classifications.Cost and Production-Related Accounting- Cooperation with Controlling and Production to ensure accurate booking of production and overhead costs.- Support with inventories, stock valuations, and variance analyses.- Verification of stock and material postings, ensuring correct cost allocation for setup, production, and overhead costs.Taxes, Compliance & Audit- Preparation and support with VAT returns and other tax-related filings.- Ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.- Support for e
