You will also have opportunities to collaborate and engage with various teams across the globe. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliDirect and manage contract guard force to run daily data center operations. /liliHandle site security incidents, escalations or any other security‑related issues. /liliProvide after‑hours on‑call management support and participate in emergent, large‑scale event response when needed. /liliParticipate in re‑occurring data center security audits and reviews. /liliExecute established compliance processes with AWS policies, standards, guidelines and relevant legal and regulatory requirements. /liliProvide input on, and may develop, security methodologies, policies and procedures. /liliWrite reports and communicate with management on the status of physical security operations. /liliOversee new security construction or retrofit projects. /liliManage the security PL for assigned site(s), assist management with financial analysis and contribute to financial decisions for security requirements. /liliCollaborate with other teams to protect AWS Data Center personnel, information and assets. /liliWalk a facility and observe security gaps in physical barriers, security officer procedures, policies, surveillance equipment, and alarm points. /liliDrive campaigns to reduce nuisance alarms. /liliExperience with workflow ticketing and extraction of performance metrics. /liliInvestigate accidents, thefts, disturbances, discrepancies. /liliOversee physical security sub‑contractors that provide guards, electronic security systems, door construction, door repair, fencing, and access controls. /liliDistill overarching security strategy into daily tactics to reach management goals. /liliOversee security construction projects. /liliTeach others the proper security processes and methods. /li /ulh3About the team /h3pDiverse Experiences /ppAWS values diverse experiences.
