To audit all daily income that has been received by the hotel and to ensure that all relevant revenues such as Rooms, F&B and other revenues, are correctly and completely recognized and recorded in the General Ledger accounting system.
How your day looks like?
* Prepare and distribute the Daily Revenue Reports to the Hotel & F&B management Team
* Review all paid-outs, revenue adjustments, rebates and allowances for reasonableness, properly approved with supporting documentation, and report any deviations from hotel policies and procedures.
* Review the Night Manager’s report on a daily basis
* Check guest in-house rate check report; variance must be explained by Front Office
* Ensure complimentary and house use room comes with appropriate supporting documents
* Monitor guests checked out with open paymaster accounts (Guest Ledger)
* Track guests in house with credit limit exceeded (High Balance Report)
* Review revenue adjustments
* Check market segment report
* Periodically conduct training for Front Office staff
Qualifications:
* Relevant qualification or experience in Accounting, Finance
* Prior experience as an Accounts Payable clerk or equivalent
* Experience in Hospitality/Luxury hotels preferred
* Excellent communication skills in Italian and English (French advantageous)
* Effective organization, communication, and presentation skills
