Ph3Experteer Overview /h3pIn this role you drive the design, delivery, and evolution of the Digital Thread to enable Digital Engineering for Edgewing, its supply chain, and customers. You own the Digital Engineering information map and the toolchain integration, ensuring data-first architecture and seamless interoperability. You work across engineering, IT, cybersecurity, and manufacturing to guarantee traceability, data continuity, and secure, scalable solutions. This position places you at the heart of a strategic digital transformation within the GCAP program, shaping how complex programs are engineered and delivered. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliLead the design, implementation and lifecycle evolution of the Digital Thread for Digital Engineering across Edgewing and partners /liliOwn and govern the Digital Engineering Information Map, interfaces, lifecycle states, and traceability /liliArchitect and govern the toolchain integration landscape, ensuring interoperability and model-data compatibility /liliDefine data flow contracts, semantic interoperability, and data replication/synchronisation strategies /liliEnsure cybersecurity controls, data storage/backup/DR policies, and requirement-driven observability /liliEstablish governance and a Minimum Common Integration Framework to prevent silos /liliCoordinate cross-system configuration management and federated dependencies /liliEnsure end-to-end traceability from requirements through manufacturing and operations /liliDrive adoption of federated integration, balancing legacy coexistence with new toolchains /liliOversee data continuity, availability, and SLAs across geographies and classifications /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulli5+ years in a similar defence/aerospace or complex engineering delivery role /liliFamiliarity with event-driven architectures, middleware adoption, CDC, and data replication strategies /liliDegree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline /liliService Management expertise (ITIL) with practical experience /liliProject/Programme Management certification (APM, PRINCE2) or demonstrable multi-stakeholder delivery experience /liliDeep knowledge of Digital Engineering tech including data architecture, toolchain integration, MBSE/MBD, PLM, simulations, interoperability standards /liliProven ability to design and deliver federated information systems architecture for multi-domain environments /liliStrong understanding of engineering processes, data flows, lifecycle states, and traceability /liliExperience collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, IT, quality, cybersecurity, and supply chain teams /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
