We are looking for the right person to lead our in-house graphic design output, and to bring energy and innovation into all areas of the business where graphic design expertise is required. One Works is a multidisciplinary design and consultancy firm of over 140 architects, urban designers, engineers, and specialist consultants. Our experience is extensive, covering aviation, transportation, retail, leisure, and commercial development sectors of the market with projects ranging from large masterplans and new build developments to complicated refurbishments of existing buildings. Our growing portfolio of Italian and international projects leads us to seek a talented graphic designer to work on a range of exciting projects. Roles and responsibilities: - create and manage exhibitions, presentations, reports, bid documents, and brochures. - work with the Head of Communications and the Head of Marketing to prepare graphic content for social media, the website, and other online materials. - work alongside our architects, engineers, and urban designers to assist in shaping the brand identity for design competitions. - working alongside our architects, engineers, and urban designers to create clear, concise, and functional diagrams for effective communication. - work alongside transport and urban designers to design wayfinding, signage, and playful elements within the public realm. - manage and maintain all relevant graphics/images, templates, file structure and project folders. - prepare and maintain company templates to create clear, concise, and functional documents with strong graphic identities for each project. - prepare artwork for print and liaise with printers to secure the best results. - identify printers and suppliers and evaluate their production facilities, service, and product. Must have: - At least two years’ experience delivering graphic design projects, working either in-house or for an agency. - Expert knowledge of the main Adobe Creative Cloud programs; InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. - A degree in graphic design, visual communication or equivalent. - Confident English - both written and verbal communication abilities Beneficial: - Knowledge of the architectural and built environment profession. - Knowledge of motion graphics software and video editing. - Knowledge of CAD/BIM and rendering software.
