The Role in Summary
The IT Application Manager – Supply Chain is responsible for managing and evolving the information systems that support production and logistics processes, from raw material procurement to finished product distribution. This role ensures alignment between IT strategy, business objectives, and the roadmap for the development of IT systems, driving innovation and operational efficiency across the supply chain.
Main Responsibilities
* Collaborate in defining the IT roadmap to support the company’s supply chain and monitor progress in terms of content, testing, deliverables, and maintenance.
* Manage relationships with supply chain stakeholders to ensure IT solutions meet business needs.
* Oversee ERP and PLM systems to ensure smooth operation and alignment with business processes.
* Ensure proper integration of the WMS within the company’s IT architecture (WMS managed by a 3PL).
* Maintain business intelligence systems and supply chain reporting capabilities.
* Supervise IT system change projects in coordination with the system integrator.
* Parnters with vendors to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution.
* Coordinate testing, plan go-live activities, manage user training, and promote a digital culture across the organization.
* Collaborate closely with production, logistics, demand planning, procurement, and customer service teams.
Key Requirements
* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
* 5–7 years in IT roles, including experience with supply chain or production systems.
* Deep knowledge of ERP (production/logistics modules; Stealth knowledge is a plus), MES, WMS, TMS, traceability systems, BI/analytics tools (e.g., Power BI), and Microsoft Office.
* Leadership, change management, stakeholder management, problem-solving, results orientation, and ability to drive change in complex production environments.
* Strong focus on quality and operational efficiency.
