Our mission: to build trust in healthcare through scientific and technological innovation. /p pCosmo Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Legal Associate to support the Chief Legal Counsel in providing legal advice across the company’s global operations. /p pThe role combines Business legal support, corporate matters and regulatory support within the life sciences sector, and requires a pragmatic, business-oriented approach to legal risk management. The Legal Associate will work closely with internal stakeholders across Commercial, Medical, Regulatory, RD and Corporate functions and will also coordinate with external law firms when required. /p pAt Cosmo, the Legal function acts as a strategic and trusted business partner, enabling key business objectives in a compliant and efficient manner by managing legal and reputational risks. The Legal Associate will contribute to this mission by working closely with the business and by supporting legal strategies that help create competitive advantage through early involvement in key initiatives and transactions. /p pThe Legal Associate must consistently uphold integrity, accountability, and teamwork, contributing to a culture that reflects and reinforces these principles. The Legal Associate will have to demonstrate agility, personal ownership, and a collaborative, trust-based approach when partnering with colleagues across functions and geographies. The role reports directly to the Chief Legal Counsel. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Business Partnership /h3 pAct as a proactive legal partner to internal stakeholders, contributing to initiatives and transactions while supporting business growth and safeguarding Cosmo’s legal and reputational interests. /p h3Commercial and Contractual Matters /h3 ul liDraft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements (including NDAs, consultancy, distribution, and service agreements), ensuring alignment with business needs. /li liProvide legal support to internal departments (Commercial, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Finance and HR) and ensure contractual arrangements appropriately mitigate legal and business risks while supporting business objectives. /li /ul h3Corporate and Transactional Support /h3 ul liSupport corporate legal matters, including corporate governance, internal documentation, and corporate structure matters. /li liAssist with strategic partnerships, licensing transactions and MA activities, including legal due diligence and transaction documentation, while managing corporate records and legal documentation. /li /ul h3Regulatory and Compliance Support /h3 ul liProvide legal support on pharmaceutical regulation and healthcare compliance, including reviewing company activities involving HCPs, HCOs, clinical partners, and other healthcare stakeholders. /li liContribute to the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures, and monitor regulatory developments to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry codes. /li /ul h3External Counsel Coordination /h3 pCoordinate relationships with external law firms and advisors, ensuring effective use of resources while maintaining quality and cost efficiency, in alignment with the Chief Legal Counsel. /p h3Qualifications and Experience /h3 h3Education /h3 pLaw degree (LL.M. or equivalent); Admission to the Bar in a European jurisdiction. /p h3Professional Experience /h3 p5–7 years of legal experience within the life sciences or pharmaceutical sector. /p pFamiliarity with pharmaceutical regulatory frameworks and healthcare industry codes /p pExperience gained both in private practice and in-house is highly desirable. /p pExposure to corporate law, licensing transactions or MA activities is considered a strong plus. /p h3Skills /h3 pStrong contract drafting, negotiation and legal analysis skills. /p pAbility to provide practical and business-oriented legal advice. /p pStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. /p pExcellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. /p pHigh level of integrity and professional judgment. /p h3Languages /h3 pFluent English (written and spoken) is required. /p h3Personal Attributes /h3 pPragmatic and solution-oriented mindset. /p pStrong attention to detail. /p pWe support equal opportunities, without any discrimination; The research complies with Legislative Decree 198/2006. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
