Project management of easements across power, water, fiber and real estate to support delivery of Global Data Center Capacity and new water connections to our Datacentres
Responsibilities
* EMEA Project Manager
* Drive cross-team delivery of power, water and fiber easements
* Negotiate terms with landowners
* Project Manage external suppliers negotiating Easements
* Work with teams across the EMEA to manage external stakeholder risk
* Research new markets and engage with site selection to de-risk easement delivery
* Project manage internal / external legal counsel workflow to ensure swift execution of Easement agreements
* Engage with internal and external cross discipline teams during site acquisition process
* Facilitate onboarding of utility companies
* Clear communication of Microsoft requirements in relation to water delivery
* Develop relationships with utility companies and execute necessary contracts and connection agreements
* Project manage internal / external legal counsel workflow to ensure swift execution of contracts and water agreements
* Facilitate payments throughout the stages of projects
* Oversee offsite water and wastewater infrastructure investments through to completion
* Manage delivery schedule in-line with construction schedules and need by dates
* Awareness and implementation of sustainable water use projects
* Program manage across a portfolio of projects and stakeholders
* Work with teams across the EMEA to manage external stakeholder risk
Qualifications
* In order to be successful, a background in linear infrastructure Real Estate delivery is desired but not critical.
* Being able to work in a dynamic and global organization, as well as a strong desire to continually learn and innovate is also required. In particular you will :
* Be highly organized and task driven with the ability to motivate others to work with you to achieve results.
* Have the ability to collaborate across a diverse group of stakeholders both internal and external to achieve results.
* Have the ability to prioritize tasks, projects, stakeholders, and geographies to deliver results for each project to ensure projects remain on schedule.
* Drive standardization, automation, and repeatable processes into each area of our practice where each project is unique.
