GOSP - Generali Operations Service Platform is a joint-venture between Generali and Accenture and provides IT and Procurement services to Generali Group companies. Our purpose is to accelerate the Group's innovation and digitization strategy through the Cloud and shared platforms. Based in Italy it has 5 branches across Europe and employs about 1.000 people.
The international team is looking for “Cloud Solution Architects” with proficiency in defining, establishing, evolving, and executing governance controls and frameworks specifically for cloud computing environments across the globe, cloud platforms and cloud-based services and IT resources, in support of organizational and technological governance requirements.
Being key members of the team to design, establish and execute a Group wide Cloud policy. This includes:
Design solutions aligned with the Group Cloud Framework and the Group Cloud Standard or by custom tailoring
Integrate security by design into the developed solutions
Act as the technical focal point, understand the business needs of specific requirements and develop best fitting solutions
Identify gaps in the GOSP standard cloud services and, if necessary, find alternative solutions / temporary workarounds
Act as pivot to integrate the designed cloud solution interacting with other infrastructure domains
Document the solution architecture
Collect all the elements necessary to provide a cost estimate for the cloud solution
Support and promote further group-wide standardization and harmonization among the legal entities' cloud implementation efforts
Support Customers in defining their cloud strategy (i.e. migration strategy, migration planning, cloud adoption models, etc.)
In case of need, support the RFI/RFP process to identify third parties for specific cloud activities delivery
Collection, evaluation, recording and monitoring of the Cloud initiatives as handed in by the Legal entities
Execute and improve the Group Cloud monitoring and reporting processes
Maintain and evolve the Cloud Group Standard in terms of technical, operational, security and infrastructure architecture
Keep the cloud inventory updated for all the cloud initiatives
Support other internal stakeholders (Procurement, Legal, Compliance, etc.) for any activity needed to provide the solution in alignment with the Group Cloud process
Requirements
Technical skills
The candidate is already certified as Cloud Architect for one or more of the most relevant cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) or alternatively is wishing to start/continue a cloud learning path till the goal of Cloud Architecture certification
The candidate is proficient in Infrastructure as Code methodology with special reference to Terraform and GitLab CI/CD technologies
Soft skills
Commit on time-bounded delivery plans
Operate and execute in a service delivery model with KPIs measurement
Actively collect and solicit information collection/support from other units & departments till the goal achievement
Manage customer interaction in respect of the tasks described above
Previous experiences
Must have either:
at least 5 years of experience as Cloud Architect with governance skills
at least 5 years of experience as Governance control function with strong cloud skills
Language requirements
fluent in written and oral English: at least B2 certified level, C1 preferred
intermediate level (B1) of at least one of the following languages in order of preference: Italian, French, Spanish, German
