Job Summary
Ladgov Corporation is seeking an educator to assist in providing FAP knowledge and technical guidance to the USAG Italy Command. The educator will develop and publicize information on preventing intimate partner and child abuse, available services, and assist in planning and coordinating a broad Command education and awareness program. Responsibilities include compiling data, marketing FAP educational resources and community events, scheduling FAP training for military components, family members, and the general community, and maintaining FAP operations.
Qualifications
Education
* A minimum of a Master’s Degree (from an accredited university) in one of the following fields:
* Social or behavioral health science
* Social or behavioral health education
* Community or public health
Experience
* At least two (2) years of experience in:
* Substance abuse counseling or behavioral counseling
* Family and children’s services / advocacy
* Organization of community health programs
* Written and oral communication with senior leadership
* At least one (1) year of experience in:
* Family violence prevention
* Additional skills:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Duties & Responsibilities
* Organize Community Resilience Events / Family Summits
* Conduct Anger / Stress Management sessions
* Provide family violence prevention education
* Assist with training and skill development in positive parenting and couple’s communication
* Develop a community playgroup for parents and infants up to 3 years of age or older, as appropriate
* Evaluate program effectiveness and conduct surveys
* Assist with Family Advocacy Committee activities for FAP program evaluation
* Support administrative duties related to service delivery
