In the role of Implementation Specialist, you will lead technical onboarding projects, helping new customers configure their Base.com account, integrate with their online stores and marketplaces, and get value from day one. You\'ll act as the trusted advisor throughout the implementation journey and ensure a smooth go-live experience for each customer.

Requirements
Min. 2+ years of experience in e-commerce implementation, SaaS onboarding, pre-sales, or solutions consulting
Experience with ERP integration, order processing systems, or retail operations
Understanding of e-commerce workflows, logistics, catalog and inventory management
Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills
Fluent in Italian and proficient in English
Comfort working with APIs, platform configuration tools, or basic scripting (e.g., HTML, PHP)
Nice if you have
Experience working as a Sales Engineer, Customer Success Engineer, or Technical Account Manager
Familiarity with e-commerce automation, shipping software, POS systems, or CRM tools
Has managed an e-shop before
Startup experience and comfort working in fast-paced environments
Coachable, agile and entrepreneurial
Key Responsibilities
Build the Market (GTM): Execute the Go-to-Market strategy for Italy. Identify key verticals, generate new leads, and turn cold prospects into long-term partners
Full Sales Cycle Ownership: Manage the end-to-end sales process: from prospecting and discovery to value-led demos, negotiation, and closing
Consultative Selling: Work strategically with eCommerce Managers and Operations Leaders to map how Base.com\'s solutions (WMS, Order Orchestration, Marketplace Integration) solve their complex operational pain points
Partnership Ecosystem: Build trusted relationships with agencies, 3PLs, and Marketplace partners to create new revenue streams and referral networks
Pipeline & Reporting: Ensure accurate forecasting using our CRM (HubSpot) and maintain clear communication with HQ
Market Feedback: Act as the bridge between Italian merchants and our Product Team, translating local needs into product improvements
