Job Description
Field Service Engineer (Multi-Vendor Services).
Deliver expert maintenance and technical support for biomedical equipment while ensuring exceptional customer service and compliance at San Camillo-Forlanini Hospital in Rome.
Your role:
Customer Service
· Build strong partnerships with customers and stakeholders.
· Communicate clearly and promptly about equipment and service issues.
· Act quickly to resolve problems and ensure customer satisfaction.
· Meet commitments and maintain high Net Promoter Score (NPS).
· Set realistic expectations and deliver exceptional service.
Teamwork
· Collaborate with regional team members and support colleagues.
· Stay flexible and proactive in learning new tools and device types.
· Put team goals ahead of individual needs and maintain a positive attitude.
Compliance
· Follow all regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
· Manage company assets responsibly (tools, parts, documentation).
· Complete administrative tasks on time (work orders, timesheets, reports).
Technical
· Apply electronic, mechanical, and networking knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
· Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and safety checks.
· Use available tools and escalation processes to resolve issues efficiently.
· Attend training and apply lessons learned on the job.
You're the right fit if you have:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineer or High school diploma or vocational certification in electronics or similar.
* Minimum 3 years' experience servicing biomedical equipment in healthcare settings.
* Strong technical skills in electronics, mechanics, and networking.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
* Team-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills.
* Basic informatics/networking knowledge is a plus.
* Intermediate level of English in addition to Italian as local language.
* Availability to travel when needed.
* Availability to work also as part of on-call shifts.
Location
Based in Rome – working at San Camilla-Forlanini Hospital.
