Experteer Overview
In this role you will lead end-to-end API procurement for Innovative Medicine, shaping sourcing strategies and the supplier base to enable growth and product launches. You’ll work with cross-functional partners to drive cost efficiency, quality, and sustainability while guiding supplier performance and risk management. This is a high-impact, strategic position within a fast-moving organization focused on medical breakthroughs and responsible governance. You will leverage data and digital tools to unlock value and support commercialization.

* Develop and execute category sourcing strategies aligned with business needs
* Lead large, complex procurement projects across API sourcing
* Build and manage strategic supplier relationships to drive performance and innovation
* Negotiate commercial agreements balancing value, risk, and continuity
* Coordinate with Legal on contract lifecycles and amendments
* Partner with Quality, Regulatory, R&D, and Finance to enable launches and readiness
* Drive cost reductions, quality improvements, and process efficiencies with suppliers
* Promote sustainable procurement and supplier diversity initiatives
* Manage procurement forecasts, budgeting, and performance metrics
* Identify risks and develop contingency plans for supply continuity
Responsabilità
* Bachelor degree in relevant field; MBA preferred
* Minimum 7 years of procurement/category management experience
* Expertise in sourcing strategy, supplier management, and contract negotiation
* Strong analytical skills; proficient in Excel and analytics tools
* Familiarity with digital and AI procurement tools
* Strong stakeholder influence and presentation skills
* Project management experience
* Willingness to travel up to 20%
