As Plant Controller you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities within the plant, ensuring accurate reporting, cost control, and compliance with corporate policies. This role acts as a key business partner to the Plant Director and leadership team, providing financial insights to support operational and strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the plant.
* Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
* Provide cost analysis and recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability.
Cost Accounting
* Maintain accurate product costing and inventory valuation.
* Analyze production costs, material usage, and labor efficiency.
* Support pricing decisions and margin analysis.
Compliance & Internal Controls
* Ensure adherence to corporate accounting standards and local regulations.
* Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets.
Business Partnering
* Collaborate with Plant Director and operational teams to optimize performance.
* Provide financial insights for investment decisions and process improvements.
Reporting & Systems
* Manage ERP system data integrity for plant operations.
* Prepare reports for corporate headquarters and local management.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
* Minimum 5 years of experience in controlling or financial management, ideally in manufacturing.
* Strong knowledge of cost accounting and financial analysis.
* Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
* Excellent analytical and communication skills.
* Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
* Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Strong business acumen and proactive approach.
