We are seeking a skilled and reliable
Maintenance Technician
to oversee daily maintenance and repair operations across our multifamily portfolio in the downtown San Antonio area. The role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on problem-solving, and the ability to manage a broad range of maintenance needs. HVAC certification is required, as this position will serve as the primary point of contact for all heating, cooling, and ventilation system repairs.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and perform maintenance across 220 units across 8 properties, ensuring a safe, well-maintained, and attractive environment for residents.
Diagnose and repair HVAC systems; perform preventative maintenance in compliance with industry standards.
Conduct repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance installation, and general building systems.
Complete work orders in a timely manner, maintaining accurate records of repairs and preventative maintenance schedules.
Coordinate with property management to prioritize urgent and routine maintenance requests.
Manage vendor relationships for specialized repairs outside the technician’s scope.
Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for daily operations.
Qualifications
HVAC certification required
3+ years of residential or multifamily maintenance experience
Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and customer service skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
