As part of Diasorin, you will lead AI exploration within Immuno Global Operations CoE to drive smarter, data-backed decisions across manufacturing. You will bridge business needs and technical solutions, guiding cross-functional teams to deploy AI initiatives that improve efficiency, quality, and sustainability. You’ll design pilots, establish governance, and scale AI models from concept to production. This role offers a strategic, hands‑on opportunity to shape how AI accelerates diagnostics operations at a global scale. You’ll work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture focused on impact and patient outcomes.

- Technology scouting and evaluation of AI technologies for industrial processes
- Identify and prioritize high‑impact AI use cases with business units
- Design and implement strategies to streamline processes and improve product quality
- Engage stakeholders to translate needs into technical requirements and promote adoption
- Collaborate with Production, EHS, Quality Assurance and IT to deploy technologies
- Define data acquisition, quality, labeling, and governance practices for AI development
- Lead prototyping, experiments, and pilot projects from concept to implementation
- Develop and standardize AI/ML model development and monitoring frameworks
- Support strategic planning and budgeting for AI investments
- Maintain technical knowledge, train staff, and lead a global AI expert community
- Define KPIs and ensure AI solutions comply with GxP and industry standards
Responsabilità
- Bachelor's degree in Software, Industrial, Automation or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years' experience in AI/ML model design
- Experience in Pharma / Diagnostics is a plus
- Strong engineering problem‑solving skills and continuous improvement mindset
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment
- Experience with digitalization I4.0 and I5.0 frameworks
- Basic Lean methods and tools
- Proven track record managing AI projects from conception to delivery within budget
- Financial acumen
- Understanding of GxP regulations and compliance
- Software development skills
- Proficiency in CAD software and statistical analysis tools is a plus
- Effective communication, proactive mindset, autonomous work capability
- Strong analytical mindset
- Fluency in English; Italian and other languages a plus
- Willingness to travel up to 40% and possible relocation
