A key player in major strategic programs globally, it is a technological and industrial partner for Governments, Defense Administrations, Institutions, and businesses.Within the **Structure Technology** Area, we are looking for an Aeronautical Structural Virtual Engineer for our Pomigliano d'Arco (NA) site.**Main Activities:*** Virtual modeling and FEM simulation of aeronautical structures (primary parts, assemblies, and installations), including non-linear analyses and specific analyses for composite materials* Analysis of airworthiness and structural performance requirements, with the development and application of stress analysis methodologies.* Definition and support for structural test programs, including test plans, laboratory support, and evaluation of results for model and method calibration and validation* Application and customization of artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to support simulation and analysis activities* Simulation of Additive Manufacturing processes with generative design and optimization approaches* Preparation of technical documentation (FEM models, stress notes, test requirements and evaluations, compliance matrices, description of methods and simulation guidelines) and collaboration with design, production, laboratory, and national and international stakeholders**Education:**Master's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering**Required Experience Level:**1-3 Years of Experience**Technical Skills:*** Knowledge of FEM tools such as Patran, Nastran, Apex, and HyperMesh* Knowledge of linear and non-linear analyses* Knowledge of fatigue and damage tolerance analyses* Experience in CAD modeling in the aerospace sector* Knowledge of analysis automation and scripting (e.G., Python for pre/post-processing)**Behavioral Skills:*** Problem-solving skills* Good communication and interface skills with various stakeholders* Teamwork attitude* Ability to work under pressure* Flexibility and adaptability* Proactivity**Language Skills:**Good knowledge of written and spoken English (B2)**Computer Skills:**Knowledge of the Office package**Other:**Willingness to travel**Seniority:****Primary Location:**IT - Napoli - Pomigliano**Additional Locations:****Contract Type:**Permanent**Hybrid Working:**
