Job Description:
We are currently recruiting a highly skilled Mechanical Supervisor to join our international Oil & Gas Project. This is a 12-month (minimum) contract opportunity for an experienced professional with over 15 years of experience in a similar role within the O&G sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements during project execution, in accordance with local legislation and regulations.
- Monitor and track project progress, detecting potential criticalities or delays and collaborating with Site Managers to resolve issues and meet schedule objectives.
- Perform measurements and classification of work executed, compiling measurement booklets and accounting records required for payment release.
Requirements:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in a similar role within the O&G sector.
- Technical High School Diploma required, University Degree in Electrical field preferred.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in foreign languages (English, French, Spanish), including technical vocabulary.
- Knowledge of PC software applications (Windows, Office) and good interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with International Quality Standards, design and construction norms, and standards applicable to Oil & Gas projects (EEMUA, API, ISO EN, ASME, AWS, Customer Standards).
- Level 2 or 3 NDT Methods certification (UT/MT/PT/RT/VT) from an internationally recognized scheme (EN 473, ASNT).
- International diploma in welding technologies (WE, WT, WI) released by an internationally recognized scheme (IWF, EWF, CSWIP).
- Certificates related to safety (BOSIET) for offshore projects.
- Knowledge of root cause failure analysis techniques, inspection methods (x-ray, NDT, etc.), corrosion, cathodic protection, and industry codes and standards (API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspection, API 570 Piping Inspection, API 653 Above Ground Storage Tank Inspection).
