The opportunity Act as a business partner to the relevant business manager. Lead Controlling teams to optimize financial performance within the assigned unit. Support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to evaluate various business alternatives and recommend the most appropriate solutions. Uphold and develop financial governance/BAT processes, internal control, and accounting policy adherence at a world-class level throughout the unit. How You’ll Make An Impact Strategy: Define and implement business unit strategy, align with wider strategy, and adjust as needed. Maintain contact with managers and Controllers on financial, market, and customer outlook. Business Planning & Forecasting: Translate strategy into measurable business plans. Oversee planning and forecasting, evaluate financial implications, and recommend actions. Performance & Decision Support: Monitor progress, provide insights for decision-making, identify issues, and advise on actions. Optimize cost structure, productivity, and capital efficiency. Manage cash flow and improve Net Working Capital. Risk Management: Identify and communicate risks and opportunities. Execute risk review procedures to minimize risks. Financial Reporting: Establish and oversee processes for transparent and reliable financial reporting. Master Data Quality & Compliance: Ensure quality in master data. Implement internal controls and ensure compliance with standards. Support audits. Internal Communication: Communicate effectively with Controllers, Accounting Center, and internal customers to improve operations and efficiency. Leadership & Development: Organize, staff, and direct the area. Guide, motivate, and develop team members within HR policies. Your background Education: Bachelor or Master Degree in Finance or related field. Experience: 7-10 years in finance/accounting, especially in systems and product businesses. Knowledge of ERP (SAP) implementation projects is beneficial. Skills: Customer and business oriented, strong communication skills, team leadership, and deep knowledge of financial controlling in a product/production environment.
